• Please be on time for your treatment.

  Please arrive on 5-10 minutes earlier than your scheduled appointment time to fill out your paperwork. Please note, if you arrive 15 or more minutes late to your appointment, we may need to reschedule your appointment to ensure appointments after yours are seen on time. Thank you for your understanding.

• 24 hour cancellation policy required for all appointments.

  While we understand that life may contradict your best laid plans to see us, this policy has been established to protect against appointments being left unbooked at the last minute, while others are waiting patiently for a scheduled appointment. Please contact us via email (info@thelasergenie.com) 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to cancel, change or alter any appointment made. Failure to notify us in time will result in your being charged for a treatment received, or have one treatment deducted from your paid visits.

• Please refrain from treatments if your health is compromised in any way.

  Including, but not limited to, skin issues, organ health problems, hernia, back problems, pregnancy or any other health issues that may be a potential risk to your health. While our treatments are not be a contra-indicating factor to your health concern, our best practice is to refrain providing any of our treatments. We will not perform any treatment on women who are pregnant, or think they may be pregnant.

• We kindly request you refrain from being rude to the staff or nurses.

  Please arrive with your your best attitude so that we may give you the best treatments and experience possible. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

• Our clinic is a great place to get a little alone time, so we request you leave your children at home.

  We cannot be held responsible for your children in the waiting room and we cannot allow anyone other than the person receiving services in the treatment room.

• Please keep the peace.

  We request that you please turn your cell phone to silent upon entering our clinic, and especially during your treatment. Understandably, the nurses wish not to be interrupted with your cell phone usage during the treatment.

• Magazines, books or any other entertainment material are not allowed in the treatment room.

  We kindly request your full attention during the treatments given to you.

• Gratuities.

  Many clients feel it is customary to leave a 18-20% gratuity based on the level of satisfaction with the treatment and experience, as the services are cosmetic in nature. You may, of course, wish to leave more or less, however please leave the tip at the reception desk at the time of checkout rather than giving it directly to your nurse. If you receive multiple services from different people, please leave a separate tip for each of them. Not leaving a tip does not detract from the excellence of your treatment given.

• What Results to Expect with Laser Hair Removal.

  Your expectations should be aligned with what is possible with laser hair removal whether from us or any other provider. "Permanent" laser hair removal is a misnomer, as most people require a minimum of 5-10 sessions with maintenance of 1-4 treatments per year, depending on the aggressiveness of the hair growth. Additional factors such as pregnancy, prescription drugs, hormone therapy and other health changes may adversely affect these recommendations. You should expect that each session of laser hair removal to reduce your hair growth, with subsequent treatments keeping the hair follicles inactive and unable to reproduce future hair.

• Body contouring is NOT A TOOL FOR WEIGHT LOSS.

  If you need to lose 10 or more pounds, we suggest you refrain from the Radio-Frequency Body Contouring/Accent XL treatment. Please complete weight loss prior to starting this treatment.

• Photos are required for body contouring treatments.

  The photos are for use of medical audit only and will always remain anonymous. We take your privacy very seriously, and never sell such documents.

• Please use the restroom prior to your entrance into the treatment room.

  Please use the restroom prior to the start of your treatment. We request that you do not interrupt your treatment with a mid-session restroom request.

• Please note, that some of our treatments require nudity.

  We suggest you refrain from some of our procedures, if you are uncomfortable with being nude.

• Please know, we always have an ear for any feedback you have, about anything you love or dislike.
